A mother and her three daughters are experiencing sweet success with The Sugar Queen Creamery. After proving their concept with a food truck, the female entrepreneurs knew their recipe for success was owning a brick and mortar building to help increase sales and better serve its sweets to the community.

Without sufficient cash to purchase the building, and viewed as a startup, they could not find a loan option until they were directed to our Fixed Asset loan. Utilizing this loan and a companion Working Capital loan from BrightBridge, the family was able to purchase and remodel a vacant building, install equipment and seating, and hire employees. When commenting about the process, one of the owners, shared that
